![]() If not, here is the nutshell version of it. If you’ve seen my (now deleted) countdown list collab with Mixedfan, then you know why it deserves a dishonourable mention. But this crossover comic is so awful, (just like EVERY single issue of Archie’s Sonic comics ever made!) I had to give this piece of s**t a devious mention. These are the episodes that just escaped the worst list, by the skins of their teeth! And thirdly, time for some dishonourable mentions. Everything else like f**k, s**t and what have you, will be censored. Now the only swear words I can say are Hell, crap and ass. Secondly, since I’m in a family friendly mood today, let me turn on my censored mode. But I’m prepared for hate comments anyway regardless. I am simply criticizing the writers who wrote those episodes. I am NOT hating on you or (for the most part) the characters. But before we begin the countdown, let me do 3 things.įirst off, if you “like” any of the episodes that I’ll mention on this countdown, let me make one thing perfectly clear. But also the writers of AoStH wouldn’t be caught dead writing any of this crap. These episodes are so bad not only do they give this show a bad name. And since I want to end this season on a positive note, let’s get the worst episodes out of the way first. As much as I enjoyed this new cartoon adaptation, I will admit it does have some problems. And episodes that are so awful, I never wanna watch ever again! We’ve seen some OK but could’ve been better episodes. While I personally find the prequel games rather average and the comicbook series was only good when it’s NOT written by Ian Flynn, I really did enjoyed the TV series itself overall. It’s been a year since this show has first aired in the States. Well season 1 of Sonic Boom has finally been concluded. I will never be whole again.Greetings folks, I am V-202: Davva. Then there’s Silver’s mechanics which allow you to break the game in whatever way you wish whenever you wish for any reason – not intentionally, of course, but it’s fun nonetheless.Įvery nook and cranny of this game is full of atrocious design and I haven’t even gotten to the story. Shadow’s vehicle sections are hilarious at best and boring at worst as the vehicles fail to navigate the terrain. ![]() Sonic’s speed sections are an abomination as you are forced to run in a straight line and avoid obstacles, but you can’t move left or right while in mid-air. You get thrown all sorts of weird mechanics with no explanation, levels are repetitive and dull to look at, and simply going fast isn’t fun. If you go even slightly off the intended path it will break, if you stick strictly to the intended path it will break, if you put the controller down and don’t do anything it will break.Įven when the game isn’t breaking, it’s a terrible 3D platformer. If you play this game for even 10 minutes you will see it break. It is my opinion that such people should be cast out of civilized society. The internet is a scary place, and as the 2000s nostalgia cycle comes in, there are some monsters out there that played this game as a kid and try to claim it’s “not that bad”. ![]() Still, it gets points for the fun time travel stuff, a banging soundtrack, and the Metal Sonic boss fight being arguably the series’ best. Even simple things like the spin dash animation are missing those crucial touches that make it look so satisfying. It’s still a solid 2D platformer at its core, but everything from Sonic’s movement to the level design feel a bit different. The team didn’t really want to do that though, so they made their own game, which is what we know as Sonic CD.Īll this context is important because it explains why Sonic CD feels so strange compared to the other classic titles. The North American team’s version would eventually become the real Sonic 2, and the Japanese team’s game was originally going to be an “enhanced” version with CD cutscenes. The point is, the North American and Japanese teams split off to each make their own Sonic 2. Sonic CD is the first look we get into the weird setup at Sega, where Sonic Team split in half because of stupid disputes that don’t deserve much discussion.
